Rural transformation requires fresh, cross-disciplinary ideas. The Rotary Agrobiodiversity Challenge invites students from all streams—not just agriculture—to build viable, scalable interventions inside our pilot villages.

Seed Archiving & Vaults

Design low-cost seed storage technologies, humidity control methods, or digital inventory catalogs to track indigenous seed collections.

Soil Wellness Technology

Formulate digital measurement modules, simple chemical test kit variations, or bio-remediation protocols to log Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) accurately.

Supply Chains & Logistics

Map direct-to-consumer software pipelines, cooperative sorting algorithms, or micro-branding packaging designs for housing societies.

Community Governance

Draft cooperative bylaws, seed sharing rules, or community engagement methodologies to ensure long-term, self-sufficient village committees.

Registration Opens

Colleges nominate teams via the coordinator portal.

AUGUST 30

Concept Submission

Teams submit a 3-page project abstract detailing their chosen theme.

SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER

Field Piloting

Shortlisted teams deploy prototypes inside active Rotary pilot villages.

NOVEMBER 15

Grand Finale & Awards

Final presentations at Rotary Center before an expert judging panel.
